WELLINGTON CORDAGE 7097-CL Clothesline Tightener

A little tricky to set up. I did what others recommended – used a piece of twine to thread through the device combined with a screwdriver to push through. Took about 2 minutes.

Performs as expected.Only issue is initial threading is difficult . I wrapped duct tape around end of the line to create a sturdy taper. Once done you shouldn’t have to do it again

I was looking for an easier way to tighten my clothesline and these fit the bill. They work well with the 7/32″ cotton clothesline. The line tightened and stayed tight, even after hanging 20′ of wet heavy towels. I’ve had them for several months now and they’re still tight. They might need adjusting after the winter, but that will be a piece of cake.
